| 30 Day Notice Policy |
Forest City requires a written 30 days notice of intent to vacate prior to vacating the home. It should be given as soon as the service member/resident knows they will be leaving.
This notice can be found on the community website at www.fcnavygreatlakes.com or at your Neighborhood Management Office.
*Residents can give more than written 30 days notice and you dont have to know your final move out date.
*Additional fees may be incurred based on lease term and reason for vacating.
*Service Members can give notice prior to receiving official orders.
*All Service Members must provide a copy of orders if move is military related (i.e. PCS, Separation, and Retirement).
*Individuals representing Service Members can give notice on his or her behalf as long as he or she has Power of Attorney and presents this documentation.
*Once the Resident has given notice and has confirmed pack out dates with personal property, he or she will schedule a Pre (optional) and Final Inspection in addition to confirming payment of last month's rent.
*The resident will receive a copy of dates and times for inspections, cleaning checklist, charge list, and signed 30 day notice.
*Any changes to inspection dates are asked to be made in person.
